PROGRESSIVE sports diagnostics is a complete system that combines several modern methods of diagnostics in sports and as such provides extremely important and precise information about the health and training level of athletes. 

The PROGRESSIVE sports diagnostics system is intended for athletes of all individual and team sports of different ages and genders. Specific tests from the PROGRESSIVE system are selected according to the athlete’s age and sports branch, which provide information on the most relevant abilities, knowledge and characteristics for a specific sport. Based on the interpreted results, we will program individual prevention and development trainings. Diagnostics of teams in sports games, based on individual tests, creates individualized prevention programs and team development and maintenance programs.

A well-conceived and implemented sports diagnosis is the basis of planning and programming of modern fitness training of athletes. That is why in the PROGRESSIVE diagnostic system WE USE THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES AND TESTING INSTRUMENTS and standardized protocols carried out by highly qualified experts. The obtained results allow us to create a program for the improvement of targeted abilities or knowledge, the deficit of which limits the athlete from responding to the demands of the sport he is engaged in.

PROGRESSIVE sports diagnosis is carried out at the Body & Mind Sport Performance Center in Zagreb, and it can be carried out at the locations of clubs and other centers. In cases of conducting PROGRESSIVE diagnostics outside our Diagnostic Center, our team of experts together with diagnostic equipment comes to the contracted location.

POSTURAL ANALYSIS

Static and dynamic postural analysis determines forms of bad posture and alignment of the skeleton, muscle imbalances and the timeliness of muscle activation.

By analyzing the basic motor patterns, deficits in the mobility and stability of the joints and the quality of the basic movement structures are determined.

By obtaining information about postural, muscular or biomechanical deficits, individual prevention programs are created that reduce the possibility of injury, and on the other hand, improve the athlete’s recovery system from training or competition.

DIAGNOSIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The characteristics of certain segments of the athlete’s body structure are an indirect indicator of sports form, as well as one of the indicators of the state of the human body structure created by lifestyle or as a result of a planned and programmed training system over a certain period of time.

It is important to systematically monitor body composition from the very beginning of engaging in any physical activity, so that a professional athlete or trainer knows at all times whether corrections are needed within dietary habits or training systems that directly affect the quality of health as well as sports performance.

Morphological diagnostics include measurements of the length and width of bones, measurements of the volume of certain body segments, the amount of fatty tissue, the amount of water, the amount of muscle mass, etc., and together they contribute or do not contribute to the model of a particular sport or activity.

STANDARDIZED LABORATORY AND FIELD DIAGNOSTIC TESTS

DIAGNOSTIC OF MOTOR SKILLS OF ATHLETES

Each sport is characterized by a series of motor abilities that together make up the structure of that sport. Regardless of the time (sensitive phase) of the development of individual abilities during the growth and development of athletes, we must know that for each of the motor abilities (strength, power, speed, endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, precision and balance) there are modal values ​​(level of training ) which the athlete must satisfy, considering the sport, age, gender and position in the game.

By conducting standardized laboratory and field diagnostic tests based on scientific knowledge and using the most modern equipment of world-famous brands such as the MicroGate and Cortex systems, we precisely determine the training level of the tested athlete, according to which we create a training program to improve specific abilities in which a deficit has been observed.

DIAGNOSIS OF FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES

Sport requires uncompromising development of all segments from technical, tactical, conditioning to mental, and one of the most important segments of fitness preparation in sports is diagnostics and development of endurance (aerobic and anaerobic).

We definitely classify aerobic and anaerobic endurance diagnostics as the most complex part of testing athletes, it is handled by specialized experts in the field of sports and medicine for parameters (heart rate, oxygen intake – VO2Max, blood lactate, etc.) and test analysis (e.g. determination of metabolic thresholds ) which together determine the level of physical fitness in accordance with the demands of the sport and the modal values ​​that must be met.

The Body&Mind PROGRESSIVE sports diagnostic system offers state-of-the-art laboratory testing and analysis of aerobic and anaerobic endurance using the Cortex Metalizer 3B system as well as many other laboratory and field tests that determine the level of performance in endurance sports. Using several methods, we determine metabolic thresholds and define load intensity zones for easier and more efficient individualization in training programming.

A detailed analysis and a unique interpretation of the obtained results determine deficits in specific abilities. Each analysis contains recommendations for the development of specific abilities. The PROGRESSIVE system offers the option of precise creation of training, prevention and development programs in accordance with the requirements of the sport and period in the season and the goals that have been set.

ADDITIONAL PROCEDURE IN THE SERVICE

DIAGNOSIS OF HEALTH AND VITALITY

This diagnostic, as an additional procedure in the PLUS service, covers the area of ​​lifestyle, especially the circadian rhythm (wake-up – sleep), the quality of sleep and recovery, the level of stress tolerance (cortisol analysis from saliva) and other important health indicators.

GRUPNI PROGRAM

Treninzi u grupama odvijaju se u malim trenažnim skupinama od 6 do 8 polaznika.
Male grupe omogućuju veću individualizaciju programa unutar iste skupine. Treninzi grupa programiraju se s ciljem postizanja konkretnih rezultata za određeni period, poštujući sastav grupe, razinu sposobnosti i mogućnosti klijenata unutar grupe. I unutar grupnih programa pazi se na kvalitetu podučavanja i kontrole izvođenja vježbi svakog sudionika te se nastoji odgovoriti individualno specifičnim zahtjevima klijenata unutar grupe.

Najbolji dio treninga u grupi je motivacijska atmosfera, veselje i pozitivizam koji su važan pokretač u kontinuiranoj brizi za zdravlje i vrhunsku formu.
Preporuča se osobama s ranijim iskustvom u treningu i osobama bez ograničenja, izuzev grupnih Prenatal i Active programa.

*Ovi programi spadaju u grupne programe, ali za posebne populacijske skupine, osobe s posebnim ograničenjima i potrebom za modifikacijom vježbi te za osobe sa bolnim stanjima i ozljedama.

INDIVIDUALNI PROGRAM

Individualni treninzi su treninzi najvišeg standarda, temeljeni na rezultatima dijagnostike te usklađeni s ciljevima klijenta.

U ovom programu potpuno se odgovara preferencijama, osobinama i mogućnostima klijenta.

Klijenta se detaljno podučava, kontrolira i podržava u provedbi svake vježbe te drugim aspektima optimizacije zdravlja i dugovječnosti.

Posebno se preporuča osobama u kineziterapiji, osobama specifičnih trenažnih zahtjeva i ciljeva te osobama kojima treba više inicijalne podrške prilikom ulaska u trenažni program.
