INJURY PREVENTION

Injury prevention is an increasingly important segment of fitness training, which in recent times requires special education and specialization of fitness trainers. The length of an athlete’s career , his health during his career and after it, the quality of his performance and the possibility of realizing all his sporting potential depend on well-programmed and implemented prevention programs .

In order to achieve its full effect on reducing the number of injuries and faster recovery from them, the prevention program must be created on the basis of individually conducted sports diagnostics , which provides a complete insight into the athlete’s motor program, sheds light on all levels of compensation and all elements that hinder the complete development of the athlete.

In addition to prevention programs based on the initial diagnosis of athletes, we give great importance to running technique, technique of working with loads, and technique of speed-explosive properties.

In Body & Mind, athletes start with prevention programs after the first day of the initial diagnosis. With preventive training, education about the purpose and meaning of different types of movement begins, and at the same time, the habit of preventive exercise is formed among athletes, especially young ones.

Such a preventive strategy recognizes the limitations and potential risks for injury related to each athlete and sport/position in particular, and creates positive conditions for the development and improvement of sports performance.

Our preventive neuromuscular trainings are aimed at correcting the breathing mechanism and basic movements, improving the mobility and stability of the locomotor system with special emphasis on dynamic trunk stability, one-legged balance, correct muscle preactivation and CNS reaction. They will reduce muscle imbalance, increase the quality of movement and awareness, and increase the athlete’s competence.

Every well-programmed and technically correct training is injury prevention.

FROM THERAPY TO PERFORMANCE


Our specialty is the Transition Training Protocol, a transition program that combines therapy and fitness training in an intelligent and safe way, implementing the principles of rehabilitation in the first phase of fitness preparation.

With this unique protocol, which is specially designed with regard to a specific sport and an athlete’s injury, we get a cleaner transition to fitness training and create good conditions for a safe and progressive development of abilities.

THERAPY OF SPORTS INJURIES

Therapy of sports injuries at Body & Mind is carried out with the joint work of physiotherapists, kinesitherapists and fitness trainers.

Therapy programs in our center are individualized and based on the initial history and diagnosis, and their goal is to return everyday and sports functionality.

Sports therapy at Body & Mind can be a rehabilitation program for painful conditions and injuries, preparation for surgery (preoperative therapy) or postoperative therapy.

Our therapeutic programs in sports include exercises to reduce muscle imbalances, correct basic movements, repair the cause of injury, but also clean specific sports techniques in the service of prevention and performance improvement.

In a special way, we connect therapy with fitness training, which results in long-term positive results for the health and sports performance of athletes.

GRUPNI PROGRAM

Treninzi u grupama odvijaju se u malim trenažnim skupinama od 6 do 8 polaznika.
Male grupe omogućuju veću individualizaciju programa unutar iste skupine. Treninzi grupa programiraju se s ciljem postizanja konkretnih rezultata za određeni period, poštujući sastav grupe, razinu sposobnosti i mogućnosti klijenata unutar grupe. I unutar grupnih programa pazi se na kvalitetu podučavanja i kontrole izvođenja vježbi svakog sudionika te se nastoji odgovoriti individualno specifičnim zahtjevima klijenata unutar grupe.

Najbolji dio treninga u grupi je motivacijska atmosfera, veselje i pozitivizam koji su važan pokretač u kontinuiranoj brizi za zdravlje i vrhunsku formu.
Preporuča se osobama s ranijim iskustvom u treningu i osobama bez ograničenja, izuzev grupnih Prenatal i Active programa.

Tipovi grupnih trening programa:

  • PILATES na mašinama (dominantno na Reformeru)
  • PILATES na parteru (MATWORK)
  • PROGRESSIVE funkcionalno – kondicijski program
  • POWER FLOW
  • SCHOOL 7 – Sportski programi za djecu
  • PRENATAL i POSTNATAL*
  • ACTIVE zdravstveni fitness (program terapije pokretom)*

*Ovi programi spadaju u grupne programe, ali za posebne populacijske skupine, osobe s posebnim ograničenjima i potrebom za modifikacijom vježbi te za osobe sa bolnim stanjima i ozljedama.

INDIVIDUALNI PROGRAM

Individualni treninzi su treninzi najvišeg standarda, temeljeni na rezultatima dijagnostike te usklađeni s ciljevima klijenta.

U ovom programu potpuno se odgovara preferencijama, osobinama i mogućnostima klijenta.

Klijenta se detaljno podučava, kontrolira i podržava u provedbi svake vježbe te drugim aspektima optimizacije zdravlja i dugovječnosti.

Posebno se preporuča osobama u kineziterapiji, osobama specifičnih trenažnih zahtjeva i ciljeva te osobama kojima treba više inicijalne podrške prilikom ulaska u trenažni program.

  • PROGRESSIVE program različitih ciljeva: redukcija potkožne masti, izgradnja mišića, povećanje funkcionalnosti i kondicije, razvoj sposobnosti i dr.

  • Single – jedan klijent s trenerom (1 na 1)
  • Duo – dva klijenta s trenerom (2 na 1)
